Compact Light Mount for Drift Bodies

The Yokomo SD-GDBFLA light bracket has been produced specifically for the YUKE'S SYMS GDB Impreza shell in the Drift Package line. It lets you attach a light unit cleanly, improving realism without complex mods, and installs using the included double-sided tape and aluminium mesh tape.

Which Chassis Work with This Bracket

This accessory is compatible with many common 1/10 chassis, so it fits nicely into varied workshop setups. Examples of compatible chassis are DP-GR35, DP-UF86A and DP-M786A among others. The bracket also supports installation of the separately sold D-065?3, 800 LED set for powered lighting.

Is the mounting hardware included?

Yes, the package includes the bracket plus the double-sided tape and aluminium mesh tape required for mounting. No screws are needed for standard fitment.

Can I use other LED kits with this bracket?

The bracket is sized for the D-065?3, 800 LED set but will accept other LED units of similar dimensions. Check depth and wiring clearance before buying.

How do I tidy the wires when fitting lights?

Use short zip ties or adhesive cable clips inside the shell to keep wires clear of moving parts and the transmitter antenna. Secure connections with heatshrink where possible.

Will fitting the bracket affect body balance?

The bracket and typical LED sets are lightweight, so they should not noticeably change handling. Position LEDs centrally to keep weight distribution even.
