Upgrade Your 1/10 Drift Body Lighting

The Yokomo SD-TY18LB light bracket was produced for the Team TOYO TIRES DRIFT GP SPORTS 180SX shell from the Drift Package line. It gives a neat mounting solution for lights so your scale drift car looks more authentic under low light.

Installation Details and Fitment

Included are double-sided tape and aluminium mesh tape to ensure the bracket stays fixed to the body. Note that the active LED light unit set (D-065?3, 800) is not included; the bracket is compatible with many LED light sets for an easy upgrade.
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Can I reposition the lights for different effects?

Yes, using the supplied tapes you can try alternate positions before final bonding to achieve the look you want.

Will the bracket change handling or weight balance?

The bracket and tapes add minimal weight and should not noticeably affect handling on a standard 1/10 drift setup.

Do I need to strip paint where the tape goes?

Cleaning the area is recommended; lightly scuffing paint can improve adhesion on painted shells.

Is this suitable for polycarbonate shells?

Yes, it works with polycarbonate bodies when the tapes bond correctly, though surface prep may be needed for the best hold.
