Fit the Yokomo Graphite Plate to Your YD-2SXIII

The Yokomo Y2-002SMGA graphite high traction main chassis is built to refine the handling of your YD-2SXIII. It keeps compatibility with E series gearbox mounting and rear motor conversion layouts while offering a tuned plate profile for drift work.

2.5mm Plate Tuned for Weight and Strength

This chassis uses the standard 2.5mm graphite thickness found in the YD-2 lineup but is selectively pared down to lower mass without losing structural support. The result helps tyres bite on low mu surfaces like P-tiles and coloured concrete.

Slit-Processed Rear Section to Boost Stability

The rear area incorporates slit processing to increase traction at the back end, improving stability during slides and aiding smoother corner transitions for drifting drivers.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Installation follows the original YD-2 mounting pattern. If you already run E series gearboxes or a rear motor setup, the chassis drops in with the same screw positions.
On slick floors like P-tiles and painted concrete, choose tyres and compounds that complement the increased rear traction; softer compounds often yield better bite.
The thinner sections reduce weight, slightly shifting feel toward a more rear-biased traction. You may need minor suspension or weight distribution tweaks to restore your preferred balance.
