The Yokomo Y2-002ZMGA high traction main chassis is formed from 2.5mm matte graphite and tailored for YD-2R rear motor setups. Its construction focuses on delivering a balance of flex and strength to enhance rear traction for both drifting and circuit use.

Chassis flex and handling benefits

Cutouts are positioned to increase pliancy around the back end so rear roll is more effectively channelled into the tyres. That increased rear motion transfer produces steadier cornering and more consistent steering feel lap after lap.

Options for battery placement

Although the standard layout for YD-2R cars uses a horizontal rear battery, the Y2-002ZMGA also supports a vertical pack when combined with the graphite holder Y2-118CG (sold separately). This lets you fine tune rear weight bias while noting that the upper deck post cannot be used in that arrangement.
