The Yokomo Y2-008FSCA aluminium front short lower A-arm set is made to refine the handling of YD-2/4 drift cars. Shorter than the stock resin arm, it reduces interference at full steering and enables more aggressive garage and track drift lines.

Improved Feedback and Less Flex

Produced from high-grade aluminium with chamfered edges, these arms bring extra front-end ballast and stronger structural integrity. Drivers will notice crisper steering feel and reduced flex when committing to long, controlled drifts.

What Comes in the Kit and Fit Notes

The package includes long-type rod end adapters for a simple swap on YD-2 machines. If you run a YD-4, fitting requires the Y4-AAC front A-arm conversion kit. Routine setup checks after installation will help you dial in ideal drift angles.

Does this suit both YD-2 and YD-4 frames?

It fits YD-2 directly using the included rod end adapters. YD-4 users will need the Y4-AAC conversion kit to adapt the front suspension correctly.

Will the extra weight affect balance?

Yes, the aluminium adds front weight which stabilises the nose under drift. You may need small adjustments to rear weight or shock tune to keep your preferred rotation.

Is any special maintenance needed?

Inspect for play at rod ends and keep mounting hardware torqued correctly. Aluminium parts are durable but check threads and joints regularly after track days.
