Reinforced bulkhead with a lightened slide rail

This slide rack assembly is produced from black anodized aluminum, combining an integrated bulkhead and slide rail with machined reliefs to lower mass at the front. The stiffer bulkhead and reduced rail weight modify the front response, producing a more immediate steering action for drift-oriented setups.

When fitted to resin chassis the component stiffens the front section and lessens the tendency for the tyre to snag at entry, delivering a more predictable initial turn. The rack carries a forward rake that creates an Ackermann-like steering relationship, aiding smoother angle changes while sliding.

Installation follows the DP-series / YD2 replacement procedure and swaps into the stock front bulkhead and rack mounting points. After fitting, reassess toe and caster settings; the altered stiffness can shift steering balance so minor suspension and linkage adjustments may be beneficial.
