Improve rear traction by relocating the ESC on YD-2

The Yokomo Y2-REM-RA Rear ESC Mount shifts the Electronic Speed Controller to the rear overhang of YD-2 chassis to fine tune mass distribution. This change adds rearward weight where it helps most on low-grip layouts, increasing traction and aiding acceleration out of turns. With the ESC at the back the front axle sees reduced load, which can curb lift and lead to steadier steering response.

Handling tradeoffs and compatibility notes

Installing the rear ESC mount tends to improve corner exit grip and allows a more aggressive throttle application while preserving control. Be aware that the Y2-RAC YD-2 rear A-arm conversion may interfere with this mount and they are not compatible together when fitted.
