Details of the YD-2 Rear Motor Spacer/Bridge

This kit contains a rear motor spacer and bridge designed specifically for YD-2 scale RC drift platforms. The accessory positions and supports the motor assembly at the chassis rear where a spacer or bridge is needed to achieve correct motor siting.

Compatibility notes indicate support for YD-2 chassis lines and reference the chassis code DP-YD2RPLS. Always cross-check that code against your chassis before attempting installation to avoid fitment issues.

Fitment tips: mount the spacer/bridge to the rear motor area so it interfaces between the motor mount and the chassis base. When fitting, line up the motor to ensure correct pinion-to-spur engagement and use any original screws or spacers as appropriate. Verify clearance while rotating the drivetrain by hand before running the motor.

Tuning impact: installing a rear motor spacer/bridge lets you tweak fore-aft motor placement, influencing drivetrain alignment and weight distribution for drift handling. Use it for incremental adjustments rather than expecting major power gains.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By shifting the motor fore or aft slightly, the spacer/bridge can refine drivetrain alignment and alter chassis balance, which in turn changes how the car responds in drift configurations. Use measured changes to tune handling.
Yes. After installation, rotate the drivetrain manually and inspect the pinion and spur gear engagement to ensure smooth mesh and avoid binding or excessive wear.
