Steel Slide Rack Base Overview

This RC-scale slide rack base serves as a direct replacement inside the YD-4 parts group. Constructed in steel, it provides the mounting foundation where the slide rack meets the chassis and adds structural support at that interface.

In service the base keeps the slide rack located and helps resist lateral forces that can throw the rack out of alignment; swapping a damaged base returns the designed rack geometry and reduces steering looseness.
