Replacement Pistons for BMAX4 III X Shocks

This product is an OEM-style replacement piston intended for use in BMAX4 III X shock cartridges on 1/10 scale RC models. The set includes two black pistons stamped 1.6 and configured with two holes as noted in the product name. It is supplied for suspension tuning and routine maintenance tasks.

The piston's hole pattern and bore control the oil passage area inside the shock, so changing to a different piston size or hole count alters damping firmness and rebound timing. Fit these pistons into BMAX4 III X shock bodies using standard shock rebuild steps, inspect seals and piston seating, and top up with the shock oil grade that matches your tuning plan.

After reassembly, confirm free shaft travel and check for leaks. Retain old pistons as spares; the twin pack provides immediate replacement capacity for one shock set.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
A two-hole piston gives a specific flow profile that usually yields different mid-range compression and rebound control versus single-hole or multi-hole pistons. The exact feel depends on oil viscosity and piston bore.
They are manufactured to match the dimensions and function used in BMAX4 III X assemblies, intended as drop-in replacements when the piston size and hole count match the original setup.
Verify piston seating, test shaft movement for smooth operation, confirm there are no oil leaks, and check that damping behavior meets your tuning targets before full use.
