Silicone fluid for shocks and diffs

Yokomo YOKCS30000 Super Blend Silicone Oil #30000 is supplied in a 30cc bottle as a purpose-made tuning fluid for hobby shock absorbers and differentials. The high 30000 viscosity is chosen for applications requiring firmer damping in scale touring, drift and pan car builds without replacing internal parts.

Install it as a straightforward replacement for your current shock or diff oil to slow piston return and produce a stiffer handling response. The single 30cc bottle is sized for normal maintenance and fluid swaps on most hobby shock and gear diff assemblies.

Tuning guidance: a move to higher viscosity raises both compression and rebound resistance, often reducing body roll and shifting traction behaviour but lessening initial responsiveness. Change viscosity in small steps and test on your preferred surface and tyre combination to find the right balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes. Follow your shock maker's recommended fill volume and bleeding routine; the 30000 grade will stiffen the damping noticeably compared with lower grades.
Mixing different viscosities in the same component is not recommended. If you wish to test blends, fully clean the component first and trial small changes to evaluate the combined effect.
Higher viscosity increases resistance during both compression and rebound, producing slower piston return and stronger damping forces; you may need to adjust springs or pistons to regain balance.
