The Yokomo YOKCSDOT1 is formulated as a Dot 1 silicone differential oil suitable for RC gear differentials. It is intended for use in 1/10 scale electric on-road and touring chassis where subtle diff response and enhanced grip at low speeds are important. Treat this item as a model tuning fluid only, not for real-vehicle use.

Using Dot 1 reduces internal drag and enables smoother engagement at low torque, which helps fine-tune corner entry and traction on slick surfaces. It promotes faster internal recovery than heavier oils, benefiting cars that need nimble steering transitions.

To fit, drain the old oil, inspect and clean the internal gears if necessary, then refill to the volume recommended by your differential or chassis guide. Test on-track for a short period to let the fluid settle before locking in settings.
