Slipper grease tuned for D-MAX setups

The Yokomo YOKD061H unit is a hard-grade slipper clutch grease made for RC use on D-MAX platforms, intended to tune slipper engagement without altering the mechanical components.

Purpose: this grease increases friction at the slipper faces so engagement is firmer and slip events become steadier, which supports finer adjustment of preload and drivetrain feel across different surfaces.

Fitment and application: apply only a small, even amount to the friction surfaces of the slipper assembly, keep bearings and splines clear of contamination, and verify behaviour step by step on the bench before track testing. Basic hand tools used for D-MAX servicing are sufficient.

Tuning note: as a harder compound it reduces initial slip and sharpens the transition to drive; pair it with conservative preload settings at first and iterate through brief runs until the handling is balanced to your preference.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. The harder grease reduces uncontrolled slipping, so traction transfer is more predictable; you may notice firmer acceleration bite when the slipper re-engages.
Use sparing amounts, avoid spreading to bearings or gears, and check slipper action after each small application to fine tune the result.
It is a hard compound intended to reduce slip; on softer setups you will likely need to lower preload or select a milder compound for similar behaviour.
