Product Summary: 48-Pitch 19T Pinion

The Yokomo YOKPG4819 is produced for RC 48-pitch drivetrains, featuring a 19-tooth profile that lets you incrementally change gear ratio when paired with a matching 48-pitch spur gear.

This pinion is used to shift the tradeoff between acceleration and top speed without modifying motor or ESC settings. Correct installation requires matching the motor shaft and spur gear to the 48-pitch standard so tooth mesh and backlash can be set accurately.

Installation notes: press the pinion onto the motor shaft, adjust tooth engagement with the spur, and check for smooth rotation through full suspension movement or drivetrain articulation. Verify mesh under load and after initial runs, re-tighten fasteners, and examine the teeth for wear signs.

Care advice: keep gear surfaces free of dirt, check for wear or deformation before each outing, and replace the pinion if worn teeth affect mesh. Intended for 1/10 electric RC use and to be paired with compatible 48-pitch components.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The hardened-steel finish helps resist wear in normal running conditions, but longevity depends on correct mesh, lubrication of surrounding parts, and avoidance of debris in the drivetrain.
Fit is determined by the motor shaft type and 48-pitch spur compatibility rather than motor technology, so it can be used on either motor type if the shaft and spur match the 48-pitch standard.
Inspect teeth regularly; replace when you see rounding, chipping, or consistent mesh slip. Frequency varies with running conditions and maintenance habits.
