This long rear shock cylinder is an RC-scale damper component intended for R12-style rear shock assemblies. The longer barrel changes available travel and increases oil capacity compared with standard cylinders, making it useful for suspension tuning or as a replacement for worn parts.

Designed specifically for R12-configured rear dampers as noted by the product code. Before installation verify piston, seal and shaft clearances align with your damper stack and ensure O-rings seat correctly to prevent leaks. Use correct shock oil and piston choices to target the damping response you need.

Durability and setup: by increasing internal oil volume the longer cylinder can alter rebound and compression behavior as well as chassis attitude. Track tests should be logged so you can evaluate durability and performance changes over multiple runs.
