Durable pink front coil for off-road shocks

This front spring is designed for off-road radio-controlled use and features a pink finish so you can identify it quickly during pit checks. It acts as a mechanical member inside shock units to tune ride height, initial support, and general handling characteristics on buggies and similar platforms.

Installation guidance: place the spring onto the shock shaft or into the internal spring perch according to your shock manufacturer's layout, ensure correct seating with the spring retainer and preload collars, and fit springs in matched pairs to avoid asymmetry. Typical shock disassembly tools are sufficient for this task.

Tuning notes: choosing a different front spring rate or a visually distinct spring will affect pitch control and steering feel, in concert with shock oil, piston choice, and preload settings to shape sag and mid-stroke control. Make conservative changes and evaluate performance incrementally.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
You can reuse springs that remain straight and free of cracks, but check coil uniformity and seating surfaces closely. If performance or geometry has shifted, replace them.
The color is a surface finish and does not alter the spring rate. Inspect the coating for chips that might expose corrosion-prone metal, but do not assume color equals a change in mechanical properties.
Watch for uneven coil spacing, permanent bends, or localized flattening. Also ensure retainers and preload collars are not worn, as these can mask spring damage.
