Durable titanium ball connector for R/C linkages

The Yokomo YOKRP-101SHS is crafted as a precision titanium ball end for scale R/C linkages, intended for steering and suspension link points. It is suited to small-scale models and is not a component for real vehicles.

Titanium is selected for its high strength-to-weight ratio and improved resistance to corrosion when compared to typical steel link hardware. The short 4.8mm neck and the 11.5mm ball seating define the part geometry to manage clearance and articulation in tight linkage assemblies. Those measurements appear in the model number to assist matching with existing rods and rod ends.

Fitting the part requires matching thread and ball seat sizes: insert the ball into the rod end, secure using your normal hardware practice, and then check full travel to ensure freedom of movement. For setup, change one link at a time so you can track handling effects.

Care is minimal: clean after runs in dirty or salty conditions and periodically check thread integrity and the ball seat for wear to keep performance consistent. Use manufacturer-recommended torque and thread-locking practices.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Titanium offers better corrosion resistance than many steels, making it a strong choice for frequent outdoor use; still rinse and dry components after exposure to saltwater or road spray.
The 4.8mm short neck reduces overhang and helps prevent interference in compact link setups. Confirm clearance against nearby chassis parts before final fitment.
Light cleaning and inspection after runs, plus occasional lubrication of the ball seat if recommended by your linkage manufacturer, will preserve smooth articulation.
