Replacement YOKY4S8 cap balls suited to YD-4

The Yokomo YOKY4S8 shock cap ball set supplies replacement cap balls intended specifically for SLF big-bore dampers on the YD-4 platform. Sold as a pack of four, these parts form the contact interface inside the shock cap assembly, supporting correct piston alignment and consistent shock action during runs.

Note that this is an RC-only replacement component and not to be used on road vehicles. Verify YD-4 fitment when ordering to ensure compatibility with your damper top assembly.

Fitment tip: removing the shock cap and inspecting the existing cap ball for wear are the first steps. Swap in the new cap ball, check for smooth movement and firm seating, and take care to protect the shock oil and seals while you work.

Tuning note: the cap ball, though small, plays a role in seal alignment and piston travel inside SLF big-bore shocks. Fresh cap balls maintain steady damping characteristics, cut down cap-end play, and make setup tuning more repeatable when you change oil, pistons, or spring preload.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Each set contains four cap balls, suitable for two full shocks or as spare parts for single-shock servicing.
They are made for standard SLF big-bore YD-4 shock tops; if your top has been heavily modified, double-check dimensions before fitting.
Keep shocks clean, avoid grit entering the cap area, and inspect cap balls during routine shock servicing to prolong reliable operation.
