Durability and Build Notes

This replacement spring is made for the rear big-bore shocks fitted to the Yokomo B-MAX2 and B-MAX4III chassis. Finished in yellow, it is wound to accommodate the larger shock bodies and the travel profiles those units provide.

Routine fitting follows standard shock service practice: remove the cap, change the spring while preserving any spacers or preload collars, and refit the cap to the original preload setting. There are no unusual parts required beyond standard shock servicing tools.

Because this spring is used as a tuning item it affects rear roll stiffness and traction, which in turn alters weight transfer characteristics during cornering and acceleration. Regular inspection of spring condition will help maintain consistent handling lap after lap.
