Silicone oil for model shocks

This is an RC-scale shock oil intended for use in model car shock absorbers to adjust damping characteristics without changing mechanical parts. The Super Blend formulation identified by the #2000 viscosity rating provides a stable silicone base for fine incremental changes to rebound and compression behaviour.

Use this 35cc bottle to fill shock bodies, top off reservoirs, or blend small amounts with other silicone oils when experimenting with mid-range damping. When tuning, change oil viscosity in small steps and document adjustments so you can revert changes if a setup proves unsuitable.

Handle and store the bottle upright, keep the cap sealed to avoid contamination, and clean spillages from parts and hands promptly. This product is for scale RC vehicle suspension systems only, not for full-size vehicle applications.

Is this suitable for heavy running and long-term use?

The Super Blend base is formulated for stable performance; regular inspection and topping up will keep damping consistent. Replace contaminated oil and avoid mixing dirty fluids to preserve shock life.

How should I store the bottle between sessions?

Keep the bottle upright with the cap tightly closed in a cool, dry place to prevent contamination and viscosity changes. Wipe the nozzle clean after use.
