Ultra Soft Titanium Spring

This titanium shock spring serves as a super soft aftermarket option for R/C shock assemblies, offering a gentler spring rate to enhance small-bump compliance without swapping the shock body.

Installation on threaded shocks follows the usual steps: remove the cap and existing spring, slide the spring onto the shaft or perch, then reassemble while checking that preload and seating are correct. Typical hobby tools are sufficient; take care to center the spring to prevent binding during travel.

In setup terms, a super soft spring encourages reliance on damping and preload to manage load. You will notice changes in squat and initial bite, so tune shock oil viscosity and preload spacers accordingly to reach the desired balance between ride height and transient response. Always verify clearance and fit on your shocks prior to full use.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Remove the shock cap and old spring, position the Yokomo spring on the shaft or perch, set desired preload, then replace the cap. Confirm the spring is seated squarely to avoid side load.
Measure inner diameter and free length and compare them with your shock's internal dimensions and travel. Also ensure the spring clears any shock boots or retainers when compressed.
Center the spring on the shaft, use correct preload rings, and test full travel by hand before running to confirm no lateral contact occurs with the shock body or surrounding parts.
