Adjustable Silicone Shock Oil

The Yokomo YOKYS300 Super Blend Shock Oil #300 is a silicone fluid intended for use in RC shock absorbers and suspension assemblies. It is offered as a tuning medium to alter damping characteristics on model cars and is meant for hobby use rather than commercial applications.

This oil is broadly compatible with shock cartridges and threaded shock bodies that accept silicone fluids; it is not advertised for a single chassis type. Always check your shock's documentation for the recommended oil grades before swapping fluids.

Routine service follows common shock maintenance steps: remove the old fluid, inspect internal seals and pistons for damage, then refill and bleed the assembly per design. Make incremental changes when testing since small adjustments to oil viscosity or trapped air will affect damping. The listed grade "#300" helps you compare it against other weights.

From a setup viewpoint, shock oil modifies compression and rebound damping as part of the entire suspension package alongside springs and pistons. Apply Yokomo YOKYS300 to fine-tune handling on buggies, on-road cars, or similar models, and validate settings on a test lap. Store the bottle closed in a cool, dry place and keep contaminants out of the fluid.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Compatibility is general: Yokomo YOKYS300 is suitable for any RC shock cartridge or threaded body that accepts silicone shock fluids. Verify your shock's specs to ensure the oil grade is appropriate.
Change oil in small steps and perform short test runs between adjustments to evaluate effects on compression and rebound, noting that modest alterations can produce clear handling differences.
