This silicone shock oil is formulated specifically for RC shock absorbers so you can alter damping rates while keeping spring preload and ride height unchanged. The fluid works inside closed shock assemblies to modify both compression and rebound characteristics, helping drivers dial in predictable behaviour on different track conditions.
To fit, empty the existing oil, clean shafts and internal parts thoroughly, then top up to the quoted level using a syringe or fill tool. Cycle the shaft slowly to expel air pockets and confirm even travel before mounting the shock back on the vehicle.
For effective tuning, change viscosity in small steps and assess handling impact; thicker oil boosts damping and slows return, thinner oil reduces resistance and quickens response. Note each change so you can revert or repeat preferred configurations during testing.
