Ball-seat sealing for improved shock performance

The Yokomo YR-10O functions as a replacement O-ring for the ball seat in YR-10F dampers, providing a compact rubber seal that helps keep oil at the contact interface and limits unwanted lateral movement of the ball seat.

Service is straightforward: remove the end cap and ball seat, check and clean mating surfaces, press the O-ring into the groove, then reassemble and perform a few compression cycles to confirm there are no leaks and the joint articulates smoothly.

In tuning use, a fresh O-ring reduces small variations caused by oil loss or seat play, helping the damper deliver repeatable behavior. Include the YR-10O in routine shock checks and swap when material shows signs of wear.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks.
