What is the best way to apply Yokomo YS-500KB?

Place a few drops inside the friction tube, move the damper through its travel to spread the oil, then remove excess oil before reinstalling the part. Test on the track and repeat as needed.

Will this oil affect ride height or spring rate?

Friction oil mainly changes damping, not spring rate or static ride height. You may notice different dynamic behaviour, so adjust springs or preload if required after tuning.

Is it safe to mix with other friction oils?

Mixing oils can alter damping in unpredictable ways. If you try blends, do so in small tests and record ratios so you can reproduce a setup that works.
