The Yokomo YT-BRBA Black Body Mount Reamer gives model builders a reliable way to make neat, true body mount holes. It covers sizes from 2mm to 13mm so shells mount securely without wobble.

Fits multiple Yokomo platforms

Use this reamer with various Yokomo chassis such as the DP-YD2RTR range, SDR-010, MDR-010 and GT1-01. It is a flexible tool for both drift setups and fast touring shells.

How to ream for a precise fit

Work progressively by enlarging the hole in stages rather than forcing a large size at once. Keep pressure light and steady, and test the mount points as you go for the best result.

Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.

Is this suitable for thin bodyshells?

Yes, but take care: start small and increase diameter slowly to avoid cracking thin polycarbonate shells.

Can I use a power drill with the reamer?

Manual rotation or a low speed hand drill is recommended to preserve control; high speed power tools can melt or deform the shell.

How do I check hole alignment?

Temporarily fit the shell to the chassis and mark mount points before reaming. Re-check alignment as you widen each hole to keep mounting holes square.
