15mm tyre bonding band to maintain consistent shoulder contact

The Yokomo YT-WG3 band holds tyre shoulders in firm, even contact during instant adhesive bonding for RC wheels. By increasing the contact area over slimmer bands, the 15mm width helps the bead settle uniformly and lowers the risk of separation at the shoulder.

Ideal for use with foam and rubber tyres on both touring and off-road models, the 20pcs pack makes it easy to carry out several wheel builds or quick bench repairs. Keep spare bands handy for repeated maintenance sessions.

Fitting advice: slip the band over the tyre shoulder so pressure is distributed evenly, confirm the bead alignment on the rim, and only remove the band after the glue has cured to ensure a lasting joint.

Can these bands be reused after one build?

Reuse depends on wear and any adhesive contamination; inspect each band and discard if stretched or soiled by glue.

How resistant are they to instant adhesive?

The bands tolerate normal handling during gluing, but avoid direct contact with wet adhesive; remove any residue before reusing.

Will temperature affect performance?

Extreme heat or cold can change elasticity; store bands in a cool, dry place to keep consistent tension.
