Aluminum rear bulk head for competitive 1/12 chassis

This aluminum rear bulk head is manufactured to fit the Yokomo YR-X12 1/12 competition chassis. The black anodized surface and chamfered edges reduce sharp points and provide a uniform finish. It acts as the rear mounting frame that positions suspension and drivetrain attachment points on the chassis rear section.

Compatibility is specified for YR-X12 and YR-X1219 chassis platforms. The unit preserves the original mounting footprints so it replaces the stock rear bulk head while keeping chassis geometry consistent for predictable handling.

Installation guidance: set the bulk head onto the rear chassis area and secure using the existing mounting holes and hardware from your model; confirm alignment prior to final torque to ensure correct rear suspension and drivetrain alignment. The anodized coating offers typical corrosion resistance and lowers surface wear compared with unfinished parts.

Tuning effects: upgrading to a machined aluminum rear bulk head can modify rear stiffness and improve mounting repeatability, which may be useful when tuning 1/12 circuit setups.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The black anodized finish provides a protective oxide layer that helps resist corrosion under normal running conditions. For coastal or wet environments, routine cleaning will help maintain the finish.
Beveled edges reduce stress risers and remove sharp contact points, which can lower the chance of edge chipping and extend the service life compared with raw-cut components.
Maintenance is similar but inspect metal-to-metal interfaces periodically for loosening and check anodized surfaces for deep scratches. Tighten hardware as required to preserve correct mounting positions.
