Tuning rear geometry with the Yokomo Z2-018-2

The Yokomo Z2-018-2 Graphite Rear Shock Tower is engineered for the YZ-2CA/DTM series to give clear adjustment options for rear ride height. By swapping the shock mounting position you can compensate for the Z2-302S1YZ-2 gearbox spacer. Built from durable graphite, this tower includes two screw locations so standard shock orientation is kept even when the gearbox is lifted by 2mm.

Build quality and model fit

This shock tower uses high-grade graphite to deliver a reliable mounting surface that stands up to regular track use. It fits a range of YZ-2 variants, such as B-YZ2DTM3 and B-YZ2CAL3, allowing drivers to test setup changes without changing core chassis parts.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Altering the shock mount changes leverage and ride height, which can affect roll stiffness and traction. Small increments let you tune rear grip without major component swaps.
Yes. It is compatible with several YZ-2 chassis versions including B-YZ2DTM3 and B-YZ2CAL3, so it works across common YZ-2 setups.
Avoid overtightening screws and inspect for cracks after heavy impacts. Clean mounting surfaces before assembly to prevent stress points.
Not always. The extra mounting hole is intended to keep shock geometry close to stock, but verify travel and clearance and adjust shock length only if necessary.
