Front shock performance notes

The Yokomo Z2-S1S2A Front shock set (X33 type) is an RC front damping unit that secures the piston to the shaft using a threaded connection. It is designed to boost shaft rigidity and sealing to help keep front damping consistent across B-YZ2 series chassis.

Important mechanical details include the 3.3mm rigid shock shaft and an X cross section O-ring that lowers shaft friction while improving seal reliability. The threaded shaft arrangement holds the piston firmly, which helps prevent piston migration and maintain steady damping response during extended running.

Note that springs and shock oil are excluded from this kit; purchase them separately to dial in ride height and damping. During assembly, check O-ring position and piston alignment to prevent leaks, and pick oil viscosity and spring rates suited to your conditions.
