Are any special tools required for installation?

Standard shock tools and a small screwdriver for the piston screw are sufficient. Keep seals and bushings clean and inspect them during installation.

Will this shaft fit aftermarket shock bodies?

It is intended for Yokomo YZ-2 compatible shock assemblies. Check shaft diameter and piston fit before mixing with non-Yokomo shock bodies to ensure correct sealing and travel.
