Rear upper arm mounting for YZ-4

This rear upper arm mount is produced to suit the 1/10 4WD YZ-4 platform. It locates the top of the rear suspension arm and integrates with the standard YZ-4 rear suspension geometry.

The included caster-adjustment bush gives selectable angles at 0 degrees, 2.5 degrees and 5 degrees. Altering the bush shifts the rear axle inclination relative to the hub, enabling straightforward tuning of steering feel and straight-line control without swapping the suspension arm.

Fitting follows the YZ-4 rear mounting points and uses the original chassis fasteners; no modification to the chassis is necessary. Maintain the original torque settings on bolts and verify there is adequate clearance once fitted.

How do I change the caster bush?

Remove the mount using the original hardware, extract the existing bush and insert the desired caster bush orientation. Refit using the factory bolts and check alignment.

Will the 5 degrees setting slow steering response?

The 5 degrees option increases rear roll and bias toward stability, which can make initial steering feel less sharp while improving high speed tracking. Test progressively to find the best balance.
