The Yokomo ZR-DRTA Tire Mounting Tape is built to make fitting solid competition resin drift tyres, such as the DRA and DRC lines, more straightforward on RC rims. The tape is a slightly hard sponge roughly 2.5mm thick that provides stable support inside the tyre.

Fitting Tip for Tapered Inner Bores

DRA and DRC tyres use a tapered inner bore that can be awkward to mount. The ZR-DRTA tape helps by filling that gap. Remove the backing, place the tape on the wheel, then feed the tyre on from the larger-diameter side for an even result.

Securing Tyres for Track Use

To prevent tyres from slipping during heavy driving, it is best to use a small amount of instant adhesive between the tyre and rim in several spots. This secures the tyre and preserves predictable handling in demanding sessions.
