Protective push rod covers for model engines

This YS Engine YSF1538 push rod cover set is a model-scale replacement made to protect and neaten the push rod area on small glow and nitro model engines. The parts are fitted where push rods pass through or alongside rocker and valve linkages to limit debris ingress and reduce wear on exposed linkage components during everyday use.

For a modeller with basic engine service experience the fitment is simple: follow the engine manual to access the push rod area, remove any degraded covers, slide the replacements over the push rods and secure the original retainers. Only the standard hex driver sizes used for your engine's fasteners are normally required.

When used during setup and maintenance the covers help maintain alignment and shield linkages during bench adjustments, break-in runs and routine checks. This product is supplied as an RC accessory only and should be used on scale model engines in line with the manufacturer's service instructions.
