O-ring Set for Back Plate Seals

The YS Engine YSS1017 pack supplies a bulk quantity of nitrile O-rings intended for use sealing the back plate on RC glow engines. The set is presented as a service pack to aid ongoing maintenance and rebuilds.

Practical notes: these O-rings sit at the back plate interface to help maintain crankcase pressure and limit fuel or crankcase leakage that can impair idle and throttle response. They are replacement items for upkeep rather than components that tune engine output.

Service tip: remove and inspect old rings for signs of flattening or cracking, lightly coat new O-rings with an appropriate oil to assist seating, and ensure both the back plate and mating surface are clean to avoid pinching or early failure.
