The YS Engine YSS1024 insulator gasket is intended for 50ST-type glow engines in RC models, providing a dedicated insulating layer between engine components and the mount. Its purpose is to reduce the amount of heat conducted to the mounting structure while aiding in consistent head alignment.

Use the gasket where thermal and vibrational exposure could change mount geometry; the spacer helps isolate heat and minor vibration from the mount. Ensure both mating faces are clean and flat to achieve an even seal and correct alignment when fitted.
