O-ring needle seals

The YS Engine YSS1030 kit contains fifty rubber o-rings intended for sealing needle sockets in RC carburettor needle assemblies. This quantity gives a practical stock of replacements for ongoing maintenance or field repairs.

These o-rings prevent fuel seepage at the needle seat and help preserve consistent seating between needle and seat, aiding steady idle and usable mid-range mixture during tuning. Since fitting sizes differ between needles, check ring dimensions before final installation and replace any degraded rings as part of regular servicing.

To install: remove the carburettor needle assembly, take off the old o-ring, slide the new ring into place on the needle socket, and put the assembly back together. Inspect both the needle and seat for wear and replace components if the o-ring cannot achieve a full seal.
