Motor plate tailored for elevated gearbox setups

This machined aluminium motor plate is produced to match raised gearbox arrangements on Yokomo YZ-2CA/DTM models. Altering which motor mounting holes you use shifts the motor vertically so the drive line lines up when the gearbox is elevated with the appropriate spacer set.

The component provides two motor screw hole locations to manage differing motor offsets. Selecting the hole denoted "-2" places the motor back to the stock longitudinal location when the gearbox is raised by 2mm, which reduces the need for extra shims to achieve correct pinion and spur mesh. It is intended as a direct-fit motor plate for compatible chassis designs.

Installation tips: secure the plate to the chassis and gearbox, recheck gear mesh after changing hole positions, and verify motor alignment prior to final screw tightening.
