Steering Block Plate Specifications for YZ-2T

This graphite steering block plate has been made for Yokomo YZ-2T 2WD racing trucks and the compatible Yokomo chassis listed below. Compared with the YZ-2CAL2 plate, the tie rod mount is positioned 1.0mm further back, which moderates steering aggressiveness while maintaining a predictable steering curve. The part comes as a matched pair (2 pcs) intended for tuning and setup refinement rather than major structural modification.

Choose this plate to reduce sharp initial steering and improve everyday controllability without changing core suspension geometry. Installation retains the original mounting locations and the steering link orientation, so conversion is normally a swap of the plates and a check of thread engagement on the link hardware. Always check fit and clearance after the first install, particularly on heavily modified vehicles.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special tools are required beyond basic hand tools. Remove the stock plate, transfer any hardware as needed, fit the new plate, and confirm the steering link threads engage fully.
Generally the existing link hardware works since mounting points remain the same. Check thread condition and replace worn studs or turnbuckles if necessary for secure engagement.
Most stock setups will not need trimming. On modified cars with larger tyres or altered suspension, inspect for clearance and modify only if interference occurs.
