This 1/700 full-hull plastic model depicts the Imperial Japanese Navy carrier Zuiho as seen in 1944, released as part of Fujimi's full-hull ship lineup.
Zuiho served as a smaller carrier converted from earlier hull forms and carried a reduced air group for convoy escort and fleet support missions. Wartime modifications to armament and the flight deck were implemented by 1944 to meet evolving operational demands in the Pacific.
The kit faithfully models the hull shape and deck layout for the period. Included photo-etched parts provide improved fidelity for railings and fine deck fittings, and the full-hull construction allows for stand display or display within a water scene if desired. Surface moulding captures deck and hull plating detail intended to align with reference imagery; paint and weathering are recommended to match the 1944 appearance.
A detailed full-hull Zuiho kit enhanced with photo-etched parts, appropriate for modellers focused on scale accuracy and museum-style display.
