The Tamiya 58411 - 1/10 Nissan GT-R TT-01E captures the essence of the iconic GT-R, a car that moved from concept in 2001 to a major reveal at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. Its 3,799cc twin-turbo DOHC V6 and reputation from high-speed testing on circuits such as the Nurburgring helped define its multi-purpose performance character.

Upgrades built into the TT-01E platform

The TT-01E brings practical improvements with A and D parts made from fiberglass-reinforced resin for improved longevity and simpler servicing. Steering has been upgraded with TA05-style posts for a crisper feel and the new upper deck increases chassis stiffness for more consistent handling during spirited runs. The GT-R body is moulded in lightweight polycarbonate and includes injection-moulded mirrors and a rear wing to enhance scale presentation. Wheels are spec'd with a +2 offset to improve stance. The kit includes an ESC (TEU-101BK), a Type 540 motor, and provisions for LED lights; you will need a 2-channel R/C, a 7.2V battery and a charger to complete the setup.
