Bought this kit just for fun, to try out onroad racing in basic club racing after 6 years of 4WD Buggy class. It turned out to be a very competitive kit on carpet even in 17.5T class. Body roll and weight are disadvantage, but on shorty pack it made a pod

Will I need special tools to assemble this kit?

Standard hobby tools like hex drivers, nippers and screwdrivers are sufficient. A small hobby knife and pliers help with trimming and fitment, and a torque driver is handy for consistent fastener tightening.

Can this chassis handle higher power motors?

The TT-02 Type-S accepts common 1/10 sized motors such as 540 variants. If fitting a more powerful setup, ensure gearbox and drive components are inspected and consider gearbox cooling and stronger hop-ups if needed.

How easy is it to change suspension geometry?

Adjusting camber and toe uses the kit adjustments and optional shims or upgraded mounts. The reversible arms make it simple to alter roll center and track width for different cornering characteristics.
