Authentic R34 Z-tune Detail on the TT-02D Drift Chassis

The Tamiya Nismo R34 GT-R Z-tune kit recreates the striking profile of Nissan's limited-run performance car at 1/10 scale. This drift-spec model captures the aggressive stance of the Z-tune and brings the attitude of the original to the track. It is built on the TT-02 base reworked into the TT-02D drift configuration for sideways action.

Drift-Focused TT-02D Platform

On the TT-02D you get drift-oriented hardware that adapts the standard TT-02 for slide work. The package includes a sport-tuned 540 motor, CVA oil dampers for controlled damping, and Super Driftech tyres that make initiating and maintaining slides easier. The shaft-driven 4WD ensures steady power delivery while you pilot smooth drifts.

Lightweight Shell with Scale Lighting

The body is moulded in polycarbonate to keep weight low while offering strength and detail. LED light buckets and wiring are part of the kit, so you can fit headlights and tail lights for realistic night runs and display setups.

Yes. You can tune toe, camber and trim steering rates, plus experiment with damper oil weight and tyre pressures to get tighter, more controllable slides.
The model is designed for drift practice and club events on smooth asphalt or purpose-built drift pads. With a tuned setup, it performs well in organised drift sessions.
Trim and paint the polycarbonate body with PC paints, install the LED light buckets, then balance tyres and finalise suspension geometry before your first run.
